As this year comes to a close, we wanted to highlight the product updates we made to the Marketing 360® Social app over the past year. We made these updates to make it even easier to create, schedule and manage social posts, all from our intuitive social posting tool.
Here’s a glimpse of how we improved the Marketing 360 Social app in 2022:
Instagram first comments
We added the ability to add the first comment to Instagram posts created using the Social app. Adding a first comment lets Social app users include more hashtags, details, URLs and more, without cluttering an Instagram post’s main caption. Since this feature’s release, 36% of all Instagram posts created in the Social app have a first comment on the post!*
We also added the ability to create in-feed social video posts on Facebook and Instagram, right from the Social app.
This update made it even easier for customers to create social posts that capture attention, and keep their audience engaged. Learn more about social video posting in this blog post.
New Media Library
The new Social App Media Library was created to make social asset management more user-friendly. With the Media Library, Social app users can:
Store their social post images and videos in one place
Quickly add image and video files via drag-and-drop or file select, and filter files based on media type
Click into a file to view its details, such as size, title, resolution and more
This update was made to improve user experience by providing a central place to store social assets, right within the Social app.
Other Social app improvements and updates
Improved post creation workflow We enhanced the social post creation workflow to make it easier to move from creating a post, to viewing that post within the Social Calendar.
New logic for post auto approval settings We changed the logic for auto approval settings to reduce confusion and make it easier and faster for anyone to schedule social posts in accounts that have auto-enabled post approvals.
Improved social account reconnection process We improved our social account reconnection process to help reduce the number of failed social posts due to incorrect account permissions.
What’s next for the Social App?
More than 83,000 social posts have been published, and over 1,500 businesses have used the Social app this year.* But we’re just getting started. In 2023, we’ll continue to improve the Social app to make it even easier for businesses to stand out on social media.
