Case Study: Social Media Management Builds a New Brand
In this case study, we show how social media management through Marketing 360® helped get a new brand off to an excellent start with their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Social media is an excellent way for a new business to build brand awareness. It’s even more excellent when the social media management team at Marketing 360® turbocharges the start.
That’s what has happened for an eCommerce children’s clothing boutique. Right out of the gate, they started getting a nice flow of followers and messages.
Since starting July of 2018, this is their growth curve:
Their Facebook page went from zero to 3157 followers. Instagram went from zero to 1125 followers.
You can also see from this data how much communication is happening on Facebook. In September they received 452 messages, which is a lot of customer communication.
We do all sorts of posts to support their branding, from giveaways to customer testimonials like this:
At this point (4 months in) this is largely about establishing their brand name, and their sales data reflects this. To date, 69.5% of their conversions have been through brand channels:
Out of these sales conversions, 57% are coming as direct social referrals (meaning the sale happen after someone came directly from social media to their website):
The overall conversion numbers are still modest, but they’re off to a decent start for a new brand. A lot of that can be attributed to our social media management efforts.
