The Life of the Party is a beloved costume, wig and makeup store located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Not only is it the best place in town to buy costumes, but it also happens to be owned by our very own Senior Brand Director, Brandon Lilly, and his wife, Marcia Lilly.


Brandon has used the many tools from the Marketing 360 retail marketing platform to manage and grow The Life of the Party from one place, including the Marketing 360 Payments app, the Point of Sale app and the Card Reader.
How did they do it?
First, they connected the Marketing 360 Payments app to their Woo360 e-commerce website, which allows them to accept credit card payments online.


They also use the Payments app to create and send invoices to retailers ordering products wholesale.


Invoicing also allows customers to pay in advance for on-site decor installations and/or bulk orders, which Brandon says has been super useful for their school and theater customers.
They use the Marketing 360 Card Reader to accept payments when working with their customers on-site and in person.
“When we’re out on a job site, this allows customers to make payments in person. It’s also perfect for when a customer pays a 50% deposit ahead of time and pays the reminder at the time of delivery. We no longer need to call the office or store and have them manually take payment over the phone!”
Finally, they run all of their event sales through the Marketing 360 Point of Sale app.


“All sales are rung up in our POS via an iPad or laptop, and then payment can be collected directly on the Marketing 360 credit card terminal. This means we don’t have to manually track inventory (since it’s collected via the POS) and we don’t need to tie up someone’s phone to accept manual payments.”
