Train your employees

Chip cards must be inserted vs. swiped. If a chip card is swiped, and it is a fraudulent transaction, then your business is still liable. Chip cards are easy to identify, but it is a good rule of thumb to ask the customer if their card has a chip.

If not, then you can swipe the card as usual.
