How to Tag Products on Pinterest

How to tag a product while you create a Pin
Click the “Create” button on the top-left of your screen and then click “Create Pin.” Next, click the up arrow to select an image on your computer or to drag and drop an image into the uploader.
Fill out all of the sections provided (title, description, alternative text and your claimed website). Then click anywhere on the image you uploaded to add a product tag. Then give your product title and product URL in the search bar underneath the “Tag this product” button, and select the correct product. This can be done multiple times on a single Pin to tag all of the visible products.
When you are done tagging, select “Publish now” or “Publish later,” and click the down arrow next to “Publish” at the top-right to save your pin to a specific board. To save your new Pin with tagged products, select “Publish.”
How to tag a product in an existing Pin
Select the Pin that you have previously created and want to tag a product in. Next to the Pin, select “Tag products,” and click on the product you want to tag.
Then enter the product information (product title, product URL) in the search bar underneath “Tag this product” to find the correct product you wish to tag. Then click the product you want to tag (you can tag up to eight products in a single Pin).
When you are done tagging, click “Done” to save your changes.
Tagging products in your Pins allows users to shop for your products much easier and is a great way for users to find the exact product they are looking for! However, it is important to note that you can’t tag a product on an ad. If you decide to promote an existing Pin that has a tagged product, it will become a Collections Ad, and the product tagged in the original Pin will be displayed below.
